Tools Needed

To use Heritage SC Fungicide, you will need either a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, hose-end sprayer, spray rig, and chemigation system.

Do not use chemigation systems on turf.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Heritage SC Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). To treat turf, apply 0.4 to 0.8 or 1.4 fl. oz. of Heritage SC Fungicide in 2 to 4 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. depending on the disease. For spot treatments in turf, use 0.4 fl. oz. of product per 1 to 2 gallons of water. For broadcast applications on listed ornamentals, use 2.0 to 15.3 fl. oz. of product per 100 gallons of water depending on the disease. Refer to the product product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
  • Step 2: Fill your sprayer with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Heritage SC Fungicide, then pour in the remaining half of water. Close the spray tank lid and shake until mixed.
  • Step 3: Spray the mixed Heritage SC Fungicide solution to the top and bottom of plant leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Make an application to the soil or potting media around listed foliage until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Delay watering for 24 hours following application. Depending on the application site the reapplication rate will vary.

Where to Use

Heritage SC Fungicide can be used on turf and ornamentals grown on golf courses, lawns and landscaped areas around residential, institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas and athletic fields. It may also be used on turf produced on sod farms; and, ornamentals, fruit and nut trees, and vegetable and herb plants (grown for transplants) produced in commercial greenhouses and nurseries, including lath houses, shade houses and other outdoor growing structures.

Do not apply this product to apple or certain crabapple or cherry trees (including flowering or ornamental varieties, such as Yoshino) due to potential phytotoxicity.

Do not apply to fruit and nut plants used for commercial agricultural production.
