Heritage G Fungicide
Heritage G Fungicide
Heritage G Fungicide, manufactured by Syngenta, is a broad-spectrum granular fungicide that can be used on turfgrass to prevent a wide variety of common lawn diseases.
This fungicide is ideal for applicators that want to provide effective disease control without using a liquid fungicide or when weather conditions prevent spraying. Heritage G works to control over 21 common turf diseases for up to 28 days.
Tools Needed
To use Heritage G Fungicide you will need either a push spreader or hand spreader.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Heritage G granules you will need to apply on your target area by calculating the square footage. To do this, you will need to measure and multiply the area length times the width (length x width = square footage). Heritage G Granules are applied at a rate of 2 to 4 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. For example, if you measure a 3,000 sq. ft. area, you will need 6 to 12 lbs. of granules to cover the entire lawn.
- Step 2: Load Heritage G granules to a spreader of your choosing at the appropriate rate for the disease you are trying to control. Use rate vary depending on the disease being treated. Please see the label for complete use rates.
- Step 3: Once your spreader is properly calibrated, push your spreader along the turf making sure to get an even spread. You may need to do two passes around the treated area perpendicularly to get complete even coverage.
- Step 4: Reapply as needed every 28 days depending on the disease and it's severity or for continued disease control.
Where to Use
Heritage G Fungicide can be used on residential and commercial turf, athletic fields and other applicable areas where there are fungal disease problems.
When to Use
Use Heritage G Fungicide upon first seeing a fungus or disease on your plants or as a preventative measure against disease during the growing season.

Q:When is best time to apply , early summer, mid or late?7/28/18A:For fungal control, if you are in a high pressure area then you would want to apply mid spring when grass is out of dormancy. This would be considered a preventative application. Begin applications when conditions are favorable for disease infection, prior to disease symptom development. Under high disease pressure, use higher rates of Heritage and shorter intervals Heritage G is a broad-spectrum, preventative fungicide with systemic and curative properties recommended for the control of many important turf diseases.
