How to Use

• Step 1: With one hand, grab the handle on the top of the cage. Lift the trap. The trap will drop into place.
• Step 2: Notice the frame rods are hanging below the trap. Gently lower the trap to the ground so that the open ends of the frame rods point to the back of the trap.
• Step 3: Bring the front frame rod up to the front frame clips. Hold the frame clips out one at a time and snap the front frame rod into place. Remember to clip both sides of the front frame rod. Repeat this step for the back frame rod. Remember to clip both sides of the back frame rod into the back frame clips.
• Step 4: Remove the U-shaped lock rod from the storage area at the top of the trap. After removing the lock rod, close the back panel. Back panel should swing down when the lock rod is removed.
• Step 5: Turn the trap so you are facing the back panel. With the straight end of the U-shaped lock rod closest to the ground, take your right hand and thread the straight end of the lock rod through the bottom hole of the retainer clip and the hooked part of the lock rod through the side. Thread the rod through two retainer rings attached to the back panel so the back of the trap is secure. Thread the straight end of the lock rod through the bottom hole of the retainer clip on the left side of the trap. With your left hand, secure the hooked part of the lock rod to the left side of the trap.
• Step 6: Remove the trigger rod from the storage area at the top of the trap. Tipping the trap away from you, thread the trigger into loops on the underside of the trigger pan. Return the trap to its upright position.
• Step 7: Trap is now set up. Carton may be retained for trap storage.

For Baiting

• Step 1: Remove U-shaped lock rod from the back panel by pressing in on the left side of the trap to release hooked part of the lock rod. Pull the back panel toward you.
• Step 2: While holding the back panel in an upright position, place the bait approximately two inches from the back of the trap. Do not place bait on the trigger pan.
• Step 3: Close the back panel and relock using the U-shaped lock rod.
