Harris Bed Bug Killer Powder, manufactured by PF Harris, is a specifically designed organic dust insecticide that kills crawling pests like bed bugs or slugs as well as future pests as long as the material is not contacted by water.

In contrast to other bed bug products on the market, this puffer bottle materials contains a unique mode of action in which the active ingredient Diatomaceous Earth 100% cuts through the exoskeleton of the insects leading to death from dehydration.

If left undisturbed, Harris Bed Bug Killer Powder continues to fight against adult, nymphs', and hatchlings of bed bugs and other crawling insects for up to 30 days without the pest becoming immune to the product.

Tools Needed

Harris Bed Bug Killer Powder comes ready to use with no other additional application tools needed. If desired this product may be applied with a hand duster, bulbous duster, powder duster, or other suitable equipment.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Harris Bed Bug Killer Powder to use by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. To find this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet and multiply (length X width = square footage). Make sure to note areas where bed bugs and crawling pests may be found such as cracks and crevices. Remove or cover all food or feed items in the treatment area before applying product. In food/feed handling establishments apply as crack and crevice or spot treatment with spot treatments no larger than 2 sq. ft. For other outdoor and indoor areas apply a light and uniform application in the range of 1 to 5 oz. of Harris Bed Bug Killer Powder per 100 sq. ft. Avoid leaving deposits on exposed indoor living area surfaces or introducing the material into the air.
  • Step 2: Outdoor applications of Harris Bed Bug Killer Powder have to be applied with a hand or power duster or other suitable equipment. Add the appropriate amount of product material into the duster. Outdoor applications can be made for food/feed handling establishments, but bulbous dusters cannot be used.
  • Step 3: Apply Harris Bed Bug Killer Powder as a light and uniform layer to infested areas. Dust insects directly if possible. Repeat treatment on dry surfaces, as needed, to maintain control of problem pests.
