Halo 30 Fly Light, manufactured by Pelsis, is an efficient commercial fly light with a contemporary discreet design for complete flying pest control in high traffic areas.

Features easy servicing with its ability to be mounted vertically or horizontally on the wall, as well as desk mounted for stylish control. This 30 watts model ability to be quickly serviced is further shown with its removable debris tray to dispose of deceased pest like mosquitoes.

Halo 30 Fly Light is a quick mosquito and fly elimination tool powered with 2 15-watt UV bulbs to cover areas as large as 860 sq. ft.

Tools Needed

Halo 30 Fly Light comes ready to use with no other application tools needed.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Use the two outer cut outs on the debris tray to mark the correct wall mounting points for the Halo 30 Fly Light, if you decide to hang it on the wall. For desk mounting, make sure the 2 black steel feet of the Halo 30 Fly Light is secured on a flat surface. The feet can be secured in position by using the two plastic fixing pins.
  • Step 2: Once Halo 30 Fly Light is installed in position, fit the glupac glueboard in place as described in the glueboard replacement section of this document. Finally, connect the plug on the end of the mains lead to an appropriate power supply. Use the supplied black mains cable tidy tie wrap wire to hide any excess mains cable behind the product if required.
  • Step 3: To clean, disconnect the Halo 30 Fly Light from the main power supply. Pull out the aluminum tray from either side of the unit to replace the glueboard. Once the glueboard is removed, the unit should be thoroughly wiped down with a damp cloth, removing any build up of dirt. Ensure the unit is completely dry before reconnecting it to the power supply. Remove the protective release paper from the new glupac glueboard. Slowly slide the new glupac glueboard into position, until the glueboard ‘drops’ into the locator, indicating it is in the center of the unit.
  • Step 4: To replace the bulbs, open the swing down front guard, by using the supplied servicing key fob. Rotate the bulb through 90°, freeing it from the bulb holders. Pull the bulb away from the chassis. Dispose of the used UV bulb in conjunction with local regulations.

Where to Use

Halo 30 Fly Light can only be used indoors off commercial sites. This product should ideally be fixed around seven feet above the ground, preferably in the darkest place within the area to be protected.

Do not position the unit close to windows, skylights or other sources of light, or where it may be obscured by furniture, doors or other obstacles. This device cannot be used outdoors.

When to Use

Halo 30 Fly Light should be in operation for 24 hours a day, ensuring your premises are kept free of flying insects. Insects are most attracted to this unit at night when there is no competition from daylight or other light sources.
