Gulfstream Adjuvant
Gulfstream Adjuvant is an effective nonionic and buffering agent that improves pesticide applications by enhancing coverage, reducing surface tension, and minimizing evaporation.
04/24/26
Gulfstream Adjuvant, manufactured by Winfield United, is a high-performing spreader-activator with buffering agents that enhances pesticide uptake, penetration, and coverage with insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, miticides, and more.
By improving uptake through waxy or thick leaf surfaces, Gulfstream helps move the active ingredient into the plant faster leading to quicker, more thorough kills.
Gulfstream Adjuvant reduces off-target movement and helps prevent hotspots or skips in coverage, making it an economical product. Using this product with pesticides ensures that more of the active ingredient reaches and stays on the target, which increases efficacy, and reliability and minimizes wasted product
Tools Needed
It can be used with various application equipment such as a backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, hose-end sprayer, spray rig, and more.
How to Use
- Step 1: Read your pesticides label to be sure this product can be used. As a spreader/penetrate use these following rates. For herbicides, apply 1-4 pints of Gulfstream Adjuvant per 100 gallons of spray solution. For insecticides or fungicides, mix 1/2 to 2 pints of product per 100 gallons of spray solution. For foliar applied nutrients, use 2-8 ounces of product per 100 gallons of spray solution. For defoliants, apply 2-4 pints of product per 100 gallons of spray solution. Refer to the product label for specific application rates.
- Step 2: Fill the tank halfway with clean water. Add dry and liquid pesticides as directed. Add Gulfstream Adjuvant at the recommended rate. Fill the tank with remaining water and maintain agitation during application.
- Step 3: Spray the solution as instructed according to the product label instructions.
Where to Use
Gulfstream Adjuvant is designed for use on turfgrass, ornamentals, trees, exterior pests, and other non-crop areas to improve the effectiveness of insecticides, herbicides, miticides, fungicides, defoliants, and foliar nutrients.
When to Use
Apply when needed or you simply wish to enhance your pesticide performance.
Safety Information
Gulfstream Adjuvant is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Special Considerations
When used with pesticides, which are adversely affected by low pH, such as sulfonylurea herbicides, caution should be taken not to adjust the pH of the solution below 6.5. If additional surfactant is needed to comply with the herbicide label recommendations, use a nonionic surfactant without buffering agents.
