Gravity SL PGS
Gravity SL PGS is a premium liquid plant growth stimulant regulant that enhances turfgrass vigor, root development, and overall plant health.
01/10/26
Gravity SL PGS, manufactured by Heritage, is an effective plant growth stimulator that works with your existing fertility program to deliver better results for turf and ornamentals.
Unlike fertilizers, which supply essential nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, Gravity SL PGS influences plant physiological processes to improve growth and stress tolerance. It contains a blend of three plant hormones: cytokinin (as kinetin), gibberellic acid, and indole-3-butyric acid (IBA). These hormones work together to enhance seed germination, stimulate root development, and promote shoot growth in both turfgrass and ornamentals.
Gravity SL PGS is rich in plant hormones, such as cytokinins and auxins, that stimulate natural growth mechanisms, rather than just force-feeding with nitrogen. These organic acids improve soil structure, feed beneficial microbes, and help turf roots access more nutrients. Think of them as soil conditioners that unlock the true potential of your fertilizers.
Tools Needed
It can be applied with a chemigation system, spray rig, handheld pump sprayer, or backpack sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Gravity SL PGS to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For warm-seasoned turf, apply 0.1 to 0.2 fluid ounce of Gravity SL PGS per 0.5 to 2.5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For cool-seasoned turf, use 0.2 fluid ounce of product per 0.5 to 2.5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For foliar applications to ornamentals, mix 4 to 6 fluid ounces of product per 100 gallons of water. On all turfgrass, regardless of use, use no more than 0.3 fluid ounce per 1,000 square feet per month.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until the solution is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Ensure even coverage and spray to the point of runoff.
