The Gopher Snake Gopher Bait Applicator, manufactured by TGS, is a unique gopher bait applicator which makes it easy to deposit any gopher bait remotely deep into the ground by using the existing gopher tunnel.

The Gopher Snake Gopher Bait Applicator allows you to get the bait right where the gophers are at so they can consume the bait and die much quicker so they can no longer damage your property.

Tools Needed

There are no tools required to use the Gopher Snake itself but it does help to have a shovel or a sort of probe to locate and dig up gopher runways to be able to use the Gopher Snake.

How to Use

Step 1: Locate the problem area where there is gopher activity and then find the feeder hole along the gopher runway and use a shovel to expose the gopher tunnel.
Step 2: Clear the tunnel entrance and load your TGS Gopher Bait Applicator with a bait of your choice and then insert it into the open hole.
Step 3: Place the bait using the Gopher Snake as far as possible into the ground. Depress the control handle and remove in a shaking motion.
Step 4: Once the The Gopher Snake applicator has been removed completely bury the hole.

Where to Use

The Gopher Snake can be used anywhere you have a gopher problem. The applicator works in hard or rocky ground, under sidewalks, patios or foundations.

When to Use

The Gopher Snake can be used to help you whenever you have a gopher issue indicated by gopher damage and gopher mounds being form. This product makes it much easier to lay out bait.

Questions and Answers

Q:I have kangaroo mice (different from a kangaroo rat) They are found here in SE AZ. The castings from their tunneling is just messy. I am not sure that the Gopher Snake applicator will go down the tunnel and I'm not sure how extensive their tunneling is. I would appreciate any feedback on success with this product with kangaroo mice as well as with the applicator? I think their diet here is mostly seeds and mesquite pods. Thanks

A:Yes, this is effective for these critters. We live in the same general area of AZ. We find the holes to their tunnels with their mounds of dirt and put a teaspoon to a tablespoon down inside their hole. This product is seed laced with arsenic. Very effective. They love the seed, and it will kill them. HOWEVER, A WORD OF CAUTION. You must be very careful to get all the seed down inside the hole/tunnel. Birds love the seed also, and I don't know what it would do to small household pets. Definitely could not be good for them. We accidentally killed one quail because we did not get all the seeds down inside the hole, and it got some. This is strong stuff, but very good.
