Tools Needed
You will need a hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, or handheld pump sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Garden Tech Daconil Fungicide Concentrate to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Depending on the vegetables, mix 1 1/2 tsp. to 1 tbs. of Garden Tech Daconil Fungicide Concentrate per 1 gallon of water to cover 200 sq. ft. For fruits, use 3/4 tsp. to 2 1/4 tsp. of product per 1 gallon of water. For ornamentals, apply 2 1/4 tsp. to 3 tbs. of product per 1 to 4 gallons of water. For conifers, use 1 1/2 tsp. to 3 tbs. of product per 1 gallon of water. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add the product, and pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the mixture evenly over all plant surfaces, making sure to cover both the tops and undersides of leaves. Reapply every 7 to 14 days for ornamentals until conditions are no longer favorable for diseases.
