Fuse Foam
Fuse Foam
Fuse Foam is a ready-to-use insecticide manufactured by Control Solutions. It is made with a non-repellent which means it does not have an offending odor and will eliminate target pests instead of running them off. Fuse Foam contains the active ingredients imidacloprid and fipronil and the foam formulation helps to move the insecticide into termite and ant nests and galleries where they hide and are hard-to-reach.
Fuse Foam is ideal for eliminating wood-destroying pests and various types of ants and will not interfere with other termite applications. It comes with an easy to operate hose and spray tip that reaches cracks and crevices found in and around a home or structure. It comes in a 20 ounce can and is a great part of a termite control program.
Tools Needed
Tools are not needed to use the Fuse Foam but it is recommended to wear the proper PPE before applying in the form of gloves and long-sleeved clothing. You may also need a drill in some cases to drill holes to dispense foam.
How to Use
- Step 1: Observe and note appropriate areas to apply the Fuse Foam. It may be necessary for you to drill holes into drywall or into infested wood to treat temite galleries.
- Step 2: Shake the can well before use. Hold the can upright and point away from your face. Insert the application hose's tip into voids and spray the foam into cracks, crevices, and wall voids to eliminate wood damaging insects and other targeted pests. Spray for about 5 seconds to allow the foam to expand and permeate the treatment area. For large treatment areas, apply the foam every 18 inches. Hold the injector tip in place for approximately 8 seconds after releasing the trigger to allow product in the application hose to fully expand and enter the target area to help minimize run-off.
- Step 3: Reapply Fuse Foam 30 days after the previous application if activity is still being seen.
Where to Use
Fuse Foam is meant for use in and around structures and limited outdoor spot treatments: Trees Surrounding Structures, Tree and Shrub Stumps, Landscaping Timbers, Apartments, Homes, Food/Feed Handling Establishments (non-food/feed areas), Restaurants, Hospitals and Nursing Homes (Non-patient Areas), Hotels, Motels, Hobby Greenhouses, lnteriorscapes, Office Buildings, Schools*, Transportation Equipment (Buses, Cargo Trucks, Trailers, Trains), Warehouses and Other Commercial and Industrial Buildings.
When to Use
Fuse Foam can be used to as a preventative treatment plan to stop termites and other targeted pests from entering a structure or it can be used as a control method when targeted pests are suspected. It is not recommended to use Fuse Foam when public places or transportation equipment is in use.
Safety Information
Fuse Foam is safe to use around humans and pets when used according to the product label. When applying Fuse, make sure the area is well ventilated and do not use or store near opened flames, heat sources or electrical outlets. Wear the proper PPE before applying in the form of long-sleeved clothing and gloves.
Special Considerations
Depending on the severity of the infestation, Fuse Foam alone may not be sufficient enough to completely control for termites. We recommend using Fuse Foam with other termite treatment products.

Keith's Pro Tips | "To maximize the results for Fuse Foam, you may need to drill holes around your property to gain access to known or suspected termite galleries and the voids where they reside. Drill hole(s) at 1 or more locations along the gallery, harborage or void for proper treatment. Consider using a moisture meter on the walls to determine where and how much to treat." |

Q:Is the only difference with this vs Termidor Foam Fipronil the 0.025% of imidacloprid? I love that I save a little money with this product, I just hope it isn't any less effective then the Termidor Foam Fipronil that I'm use to using.5/24/17A:Yes, that is correct the product is made with the same active ingredients in the liquid Fuse Termiticide. In a ready to use a form that will provide great coverage to those though to treat places.

Q:I have found termites in my closets in my home. How would I use fuse for this? I am hoping because it is a foam, it won't damage my stuff5/24/17A:If you can locate the area that you see the termites, then you can drill little holes into sheet rock and apply the expanding Fipro Foam and this product will expand. You will need to apply it in between the studs and then also if there is anything that will stop the foam from moving in the wall void. This would not be considered a stand alone treatment, so you will need to try and locate the source. https://www.solutionsstores.com/fipro-foaming-aerosol
