Foursome Plus Turf Pigment, manufactured by Quali-Pro, is a turf colorant designed to enhance the aesthetic appearance of a lawn or landscape, especially following a pesticide application.

It can also be used as a spray pattern indicator, helping to make sure you make a uniform application of the pesticide, producing a more consistent turf response.

Tools Needed

To use Foursome Plus Turf Pigment, you will need to mix the product in a handheld sprayer or backpack sprayer. For large volume applications, you will need a pesticide spraying rig.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Foursome Plus Turf Pigment you will need for the treatment area by calculating the square footage and/or acreage of the application site. To do this, measure (in feet) the length and width of the area and then multiply the two values (length x width = square footage). To get acreage, take the square footage found and divide by 43,560 (Square footage/43,560 = acreage). The rate for applying Foursome Plus is 15 to 20 oz. per acre of in at least 10 gallons of water with 16 oz. being the suggested initial rate.
• Step 2: Fill sprayer tank one-half to two-thirds volume of water. Add the appropriate amount of Foursome depending on your calculations and then agitate to mix the solution well. Allow the Foursome Turf Pigment to fully disperse and mix into the spray solution before adding additional pesticides.
• Step 3: Apply the Foursome Plus solution to the treatment area to the point, preferably on a fan spray setting for uniform coverage on the turf.
• Step 4: After application, clean sprayer tank as per pesticide manufacturer's label.

Foursome Plus Turf Pigment can be applied anywhere that you have turfgrass that could use some enhancement to look a bit more lively. Typically this product is used on residential lawns and golf courses.
