Forestry Oil is an advanced oil-based adjuvant specially designed for use with products that may require or recommend an oil adjuvant to improve performance. It can be tank mixed with insecticides and herbicides for better penetration of vegetation. The product is manufactured by Alligare and does a great job of penetrating past the thick waxy coating of plants, making pesticides more effective.
Tools Needed
To use Forestry Oil Spray Penetrate you will need to mix the product with a herbicide or pesticide of your choosing in a sprayer tank.
How to Use
- Step 1: In a hand-pump sprayer or other sprayer type, mix the Forestry Oil Spray Penetrate with the pesticide. Forestry Oil Spray Penetrate should be mixed at a rate s use 1 to 4 pints of Alligare Forestry Oil per 100 gallons of mix. Shake the sprayer so the Forestry Oil is well mixed with the diluted pesticide.
- Step 2: Begin spraying the mixed solution on the target plant materials at the volume and application rate recommended on the label. When spraying the vegetation, care should be taken to thoroughly cover as much of the targeted vegetation as possible to ensure complete coverage.

Use Forestry Oil Spray Penetrate in mixtures along with a herbicide or pesticide that calls for adding in an adjuvant to increase it's performance and effectiveness. Forestry Oil Spray Penetrate is a great addition on agricultural crops, in forestry applications, industrial rights-of-way settings, in pasture and rangeland areas and other applications.
