Foma 1.88 Herbicide
Foma 1.88 Herbicide, manufactured by Drexel, is a liquid herbicide formulation for the control of broadleaf weeds, grasses, and sedges in crops.
This product has visible results in as little as 2 days with residual activity in the soil. This is a proven alternative to glyphosate-resistant weeds and is most effective when used as a post-emergent herbicide.
Foma 1.88 Herbicide provides the most experienced and beginner growers a way to combat weeds like pigweed and morning glory in one convenient application.
Tools Needed
To use Foma 1.88 Herbicide, you will need to mix the product in a sprayer of your choosing such as a backpack sprayer, or a professional spray rig for large-volume applications.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Foma 1.88 Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, you will need to measure the length and the width of the treatment area in feet and then multiply them together ( length X width = square footage). For acreage, take your square footage and dive it by one acre (square feet/ 43,560 sq. ft. = acre). As a pre-plant application treatment, Foma 1.88 Herbicide can be applied at a rate of 0.75 pints of product per 15 gallons of water per acre. Refer to the label for more specific mix rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill your selected sprayer tank with half the required amount of water and add the measured amount of Foma 1.88 Herbicide. Fill the sprayer the rest of the way with the remaining water. Close the sprayer and shake till well mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the Foma 1.88 Herbicide mixture on the target weed, making sure to get even coverage and no overlap. If adequate moisture is not received after the application of this product, weed control may be improved by overhead irrigation with at least one-fourth inch of water.
