The Starbar Fly Relief Fly Trap, manufactured by Central Garden and Pet Company uses a special formulated fly attractant mixed in water to attract and trap thousands of flies.

The Fly Relief Fly Trap is ideal for ranchers, farmers, and homeowners to prevent flies from gathering around livestock and food. Just hang the trap where pesky flies are swarming and throw it away when full.

Using Fly Relief Fly Trap

Tools Needed

Scissors are needed to cut open the top of the trap and a string or cable is needed to hang it up.

How to Use

  • Step 1:Cut a hole in the top of the fly trap bag, then pull up the top of the trap until is snaps into position.
  • Step 2: Hang the fly trap outdoors in a sunlit area where flies are most active. It is suggested to hang the fly trap at least 4' feet above the ground.
  • Step 3: Hold the base of the attractant tube in place and twist the top of the tube until it snaps so that attractant can be dumped out into the fly trap bag. Do not remove the attractant tube from the bag.
  • Step 4: Fill the fly trap bag with water and shake the bag gently, to agitate the attractant. Do not fill water past the fill line and keep the bag full of water until the bag is full of flies and ready to throw away.

Where to Use

The Fly Relief Fly Trap can be hung around the perimeter of porches, patios, barns, outdoor kitchen areas, along fence lines, and in other places where flies are gathering. It is best to hang the fly trap in shaded areas during hot weather, at least 4' feet above the ground.

It is not recommended to hang the Fly Relief Fly Trap indoors of residential buildings and structures.

When to Use

The Fly Relief Fly Trap can be used any time flies are bothering livestock animals or invading outdoor spaces. For the best results, keep Fly Relief Fly Traps hung up during daylight hours when flies are most active.
