Exocutor 80 Fly Trap is manufactured by Pelsis and is an effective professional fly light trap and flykiller perfect for commercial and industrial backrooms. Utilizing two 16-watt UV tubes which emits an attracting glow that lures flies toward the trap, the unit comes with a killing grid that will electrocute flies when they get close enough and catches them in a removable tray. The Exocutor is easy to set up and service when needed.

Tools Needed

To set up the Exocutor 80 Fly Trap, you will need a screwdriver or drill, as well as a level to make sure the product is hung evenly.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Before setting the fly light, mark the areas where the screws or anchors will be on the wall if you choose to have it wall mounted. The fly light should be positioned between four to six feet high, because this is normally the area where flies are most active. Be sure your markings are level. It is important to know the material you are drilling into. If your wall is drywall, you will need to screw in the anchors first for effective results. If you are drilling into wood, the anchors are not necessary. Once all of this is done, hold the bracket in place while drilling your anchors and/or screws in. Mount the cage onto the bracket, double-checking to make sure everything is level.
  • Step 2: Once you have properly positioned or mounted the fly light, you can then plug the Ecocutor to a power supply
  • Step 3: Change the bulbs as needed at least once a year.

Where to Use

The Exocutor 80 Fly Trap is meant only for indoor use. The ideal height of a fly light is 6 feet off the ground as this is the typical height most flying insects are flying. The product should not be used in barns, stables or similar locations.

When to Use

Use the Exocutor 80 Fly Trap when you are encountering flies in commercial and industrial backrooms. The Exocutor 80 Fly Trap should ideally be in operation for 24 hours a day, ensuring your premises are kept free of flying insects. Insects are most attracted to Exocutor 80 Fly Trap at night when there is no competition from daylight or other light sources.

Safety Information

The product is safe to use when set up according to label directions. Please follow the label when it comes to proper usage for safety. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not place with the appliance.

Special Considerations

The catch tray is connected to the power supply of the unit via a hidden switch. By removing the catch tray, the connection is broken and power is cut to the unit. This ensures safe access to the unit for servicing and cleaning.
