Essentria IC Pro (formerly called Essentria IC3), manufactured by Zoecon, is a botanically derived insecticide that quickly knocks down flying and crawling pests within sensitive indoor and outdoor areas like livestock facilities.

This natural-based liquid, features active ingredients derived from essential oils, including geraniol 10.0%, clove oil 3.0% and cornmint oil 1.5%, to target insects like silverfish or pillbugs within as little as 4 days.

Essentria IC Pro provides an environmentally friendly pest control solution for homeowners, cannabis and hemp growers, or livestock owners facing active pest infestations in or around their property or food crops. With its low fragrance and low phytotoxicity formula, this product will prevent adverse affects on plants when applied without emitting offensive odors.

Tools Needed

To apply Essentria IC Pro, you will need to use either a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, professional skid sprayer, hose-end sprayer, compressed air sprayer, power sprayer, mist sprayer, mist blower, automated spray systems, and/ or related application technologies.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Essentria IC Pro to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Do this by measuring the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). Depending on the pest, apply between 1 to 8 fl. oz. of Essentria IC Pro per gallon of water then mix in the final dilution at 2 gallons per 1,000 square feet for indoor sites. For fog applications, mix 1 to 8 fl. oz. of product per 1 gallon of diluted spray then apply at the rate of 1 to 8 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 cubic feet. For outdoor use and perimeter applications, dilute 1 to 8 fl. oz. of product per gallon of water then apply at the rate of 2 gallons per 1,000 square feet or until area is thoroughly wet.
• Step 2: Fill your selected sprayer with half the amount of water, and then add the measured amount of Essentria IC Pro. Fill your sprayer the rest of the way with the remaining half of water and secure the sprayer's lid. Shake the sprayer until the solution is thoroughly mixed.
• Step 3: Indoors, spray the mixed Essentria IC Pro solution to cracks and crevices, niches, dark corners, drains and other insect harborage sites. Outdoors, spray 3 feet up the structure and 6 to 10 feet wide around the building as well as surrounding vegetation. Additionally, spray around potential entry areas including, but not limited too, eaves, windows, doorways, porches, porch lights, and around utility boxes. When you perform space sprays with a type of fogging equipment, you will need to cover or remove exposed food and cover food handling surfaces. Also, cover sensitive surfaces (plastics, etc.). Close and shut off air conditioning or ventilating equipment. Keep area closed for at least 15 minutes.
• Step 4: Repeat applications of Essentria IC Pro as necessary to maintain control in specific application sites against desired pests. To control mosquitoes, wait until 4 days have passed after the last application before spraying for this pest again. In livestock facilities, wait between 14 to 21 days before reapplying this product.

Where to Use

Essentria IC Pro can be used for indoor and outdoor use.

Indoor use areas include, but not limited to, apartment buildings, agricultural buildings and other manmade structures, bakeries, barns, beverage plants, bottling facilities, breweries, cafeterias, candy plants, canneries, cereal processing and manufacturing plants, child care facilities, daycare, food trucks, frozen food plants, furniture and bedding (see Note for sensitive indoor/outdoor surfaces), garages, greenhouses, grower facilities, homes, hospitals, health care, hotels, houses, indoor plantscapes, industrial buildings, jail cells, kennels, kitchens, laboratories, lavatories, manufacturing facilities, mausoleums, meat processing and packaging plants, meat and vegetable canneries, military barracks, motels, multifamily homes, museums, nursing homes, outbuildings, prison facilities, research facilities, storage closets, storage sheds, office buildings, rest rooms, retail stores, schools, stores, supermarkets, warehouses, and similar structures. This product may also be used on cannabis, hemp or unspecified food crops, boats, buses, trucks, trailers, rail cars, marine vessels, and cargo vessels.

Outdoor use areas include, but is not limited to, barns, boat houses, boat docks, building foundations, dairy facilities, drains and sewers, drive-in restaurants, drive-in theaters, feed lots, fence lines, golf courses, greenhouses, hog barns, kennels, landscape areas, lawns, lathe houses, livestock facilities, loading docks, marinas, mink farms, mushroom houses, outdoor food service, parks, playgrounds, poultry houses, recreational areas, schools, stables, trees, turf, urban areas, and zoos.

Do not apply directly to house plants.

When to Use

Essentria IC Pro can be applied as soon as pest activity is suspected or confirmed. Since flying insects can migrate in and out of the treatment area, it is recommended to use this product as part of an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program.

Safety Information

Essentria IC Pro is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Premise sprays in Livestock facilities cannot be done with animals present.

Do not allow people or pets into treatment areas until the product has dried completely.

Special Considerations

Use care and do not spray Essentria IC Pro on sensitive plants. If not sure, test spray a few leaves 2 days before spraying entire plant. Exceeding rates may create potential phytotoxicity on turf and vegetation surfaces.
