Drexel Dicamba DGA Herbicide, manufactured by Drexel, is a water-soluble formulation for the control of love 70+ broadleaf weeds, woody brush, and vines in labeled crops, rights of way, and lawns.

This product works systemically and can stay active in the soil for up to 14 days with results that should be seen in 2 to 3 weeks. It can be used as a broad spray or for spot treatments of target weeds.

Drexel Dicamba DGA Herbicide can be mixed with other herbicides and insecticides for weeds that have become resistant to other herbicides.

Tools Needed

To use Drexel Dicamba DGA Herbicide, you will need to mix the product into a sprayer of your choosing such as a pump sprayer or backpack sprayer for home lawn applications or a spray rig for larger volume applications.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Drexel Dicamba DGA Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the area to be treated. Do this by measuring the length and width of the treatment area in feet and then multiplying them together (length x width = square footage). For acreage take your square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,650 sq. feet = acre). For spot applications, apply 1 to 4.5 tsp of Drexel Dicamba DGA Herbicide to 3 gallons of water per 1,000 square feet. Larger broadcast applications will vary between 8 to 32 ounces of this product and 10 to 600 gallons of water per acre.
  • Step 2: Fill your selected sprayer tank halfway with the required amount of water and then add the measured amount of Drexel Dicamba DBA. Fill with the remaining half of the water and close the lid. Shake the tank until well-mixed.
  • Step 3: Spray the target weed with Drexel Dicamba DGA Herbicidemixture, making sure to give even coverage using the fan spray setting. Check back after 30 days and reapply as necessary to get complete control.

Where to Use

Use Drexel Dicamba DGA Herbicide on asparagus, conservation reserve programs, corn, cotton, fallow croplands, general farmstead (Non-cropland), grass grown for seed, hay, pasture, proso millet, rangeland, small grains, sod farms, and farmstead turf, sorghum, soybeans, and sugarcane. 

When to Use

Drexel Dicamba DGA Herbicide can be used when weeds are first noticed and when rainfall is not predicated 24 hours after application. 

Do not apply this product to crops under stress due to lack of moisture, hail damage, flooding, herbicide injury, mechanical injury, insects or widely fluctuating temperatures as injury may result.

Safety Information

Drexel Dicamba DGA Herbicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

Do not allow people or pets to enter treated areas until 24 hours have passed after application. 

Special Considerations

Drexel Dicamba DGA Herbicide may also be used in tank-mixtures with foliar applied insecticides including synthetic pyrethroids such as Esfenvalerate (e.g., Asana), Lambda-cyhalothrin (e.g., L-C Insecticide, Warrior) and Permethrin (e.g., Ambush) insecticides. Do not apply this product in tank-mixtures with Chlorpyrifos (e.g., Chlorpyrifos 4E-AG, Lorsban) insecticide.
