Dr. T's Mosquito Repelling Granules
Dr. T's Mosquito Repelling Granules
Dr. T's Mosquito Repelling Granules, manufactured by Woodstream, is a granular mosquito deterrent made from a unique blend of natural ingredients such as lemon grass, mint and garlic oils to naturally repel mosquitos from any outdoor space. Unlike other mosquito repellents, this odorless formula greatly enhances the soil and builds up turf.
This biodegradable formula emits a mild odor that masks the attractive scents of people and animals in your property, effectively keeping mosquitoes away without harming your lawn and landscape. Once applied, the granules begin to repel mosquitoes away within an hour of application offering an environmentally-friendly alternative to poisons.
Dr. T's Mosquito Repelling Granules is a long-lasting mosquito repellent that creates a powerful insecticide barrier for up to 3 weeks. Just sprinkle the effective mosquito repellent directly from the built-in-sprinkler shaker to prevent mosquitoes from traveling near treated areas such as around pools or patios.
Tools Needed
Dr. T's Mosquito Repelling Granules can easily be applied with the built-in-sprinkler shaker.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Dr. T's Mosquito Repelling Granules you will need by measuring the square footage of your treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply (length X width = square footage). One container of Dr. T's Mosquito Repelling Granules will cover approximately 3,000-4,000 square feet. In most cases, one container can suffice but if you are applying to a golf course or large outdoor area, you may need a second container.
- Step 2: Lightly sprinkle the Dr. T's Mosquito Repelling Granules evenly over the entire area that you wish to protect from mosquitoes. Do not water the area for at least 48 hours after application. Once applied this product will last approximately 2 to 3 weeks.
Where to Use
Use Dr. T's Mosquito Repelling Granules around playgrounds, golf courses, campsites, yard parties, outdoor weddings, pool parties, schools, soccer fields, little league parks, homes, lawns, pools, campsites, patio and picnic areas, water gardens, tennis courts, and anywhere people play or work.
When to Use
Apply Dr. T's Mosquito Repelling Granules 12 hours before the desired area is to be occupied such as outdoor weddings, pool and patio parties, around schools and cookouts. It is best to apply this product early after dew has dried (a.m.) and when there is little to no breeze present.
Safety Information
When applied as directed, Dr. T's Mosquito Repelling Granules is safe for use around humans, pets and plants. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product.
Special Considerations
It should be noted that this product does not kill mosquitoes, it merely keeps them away from an area due to the off-putting scent.
