Dexter Max Fungicide
Dexter Max Fungicide
Dexter Max Fungicide is an easy to use water dispersible granule fungicide that provides contact and systemic disease control within commercial greenhouses and other crops.
Dexter Max Fungicide, manufactured by United Phosphorous, is an excellent protectant fungicide that is perfect for preventing foliar, stem, and root diseases on golf courses, lawns, and landscape areas.
Designed to control and prevent diseases such as fusarium and algae within 14-21 days resulting in healthier bloomage and roots. As a result, this narrows the stress vulnerable window before plants grow.
Dexter Max Fungicide promotes faster and guaranteed bloomage of crops by controlling fungi throughout the plant and those that emerge on the surface with multiple active ingredients.
Tools Needed
To apply Dexter Max Fungicide, you will need to use a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, spray rig, aerial application equipment, or chemigation system.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Dexter Max Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For general applications to ornamentals in the field, nursery, or greenhouse use 1 to 2.1 lbs. of Dexter Max Fungicide per 100 gallons of water. Do not make more than 8 applications per year in these sites. Refer to the label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: To prepare spray solution, partially fill the spray tank with clean water and begin agitation. Add the specified amount of Dexter Max Fungicide to the tank, allowing time for good dispersion, then add an adjuvant, if recommended. Finish filling the tank to the desired volume to obtain the proper spray concentration. Maintain agitation throughout the spraying operation. Do not allow spray mixture to stand overnight or for prolonged periods.
- Step 3: Direct the Dexter Max Fungicide spray to thoroughly coat the upper and lower parts of the leaves, but not to the point of runoff. Repeat applications when 7-10 days have passed after the first.
