Tools Needed

To apply Devrinol 2-XT Selective Herbicide, you will need to use a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig.

How to Use

Step 1: Determine how much Devrinol 2-XT Selective Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For warm-seasoned turf applications, use 3 fl. oz. of Devrinol 2-XT Selective Herbicide in 2 1/2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. or 1 gallon of product per 80-120 gallons of water per acre. Refer to the label for specific rates.
Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Devrinol 2-XT Selective Herbicide, then pour in the remaining amount of water. Shake the spray tank until it is mixed.
Step 3: Spray the Devrinol 2-XT Selective Herbicide to the entire soil surface. Irrigate treated areas with 1/2 inch of water when 2-3 days have passed after application.

Where to Use

Devrinol 2-XT Selective Herbicide can be used on certain nuts, small fruits, vegetables and tobacco. Also for use on container-grown ornamentals, field-grown nursery stock, liner stock, ground covers, and turfgrass.

When to Use

Apply Devrinol 2-XT Selective Herbicide before weeds emerge and when rainfall is expected to occur within 24-72 hours after application. You do not need to wait for rainfall if you plan to irrigate treated areas yourself.

Safety Information

Devrinol 2-XT Selective Herbicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Do not graze treated areas.

Keep people and pets out of treated areas until 24 hours have passed after application.

60-day plantback interval for leafy vegetables.
