Daconil Ultrex Fungicide
Daconil Ultrex Fungicide
Daconil Ultrex Fungicide, manufactured by Syngenta, is a contact fungicide designed to protect vulenerable plants from 14 common diseases such as dollar spot, leaf spot, anthracnose and gray snow mold. Daconil Ultrex works on multiple sites and works to delay and prevent resistance.
Daconil Ultrex also comes with a built-in surfactant which helps the fungicide to have sticking power for extended coverage and unsurpassed protection, even after heavy rain or watering.
With a residual control of 14 to 21 days, you don't have to constantly be reapplying to protect your precious plants, making Daconil Ultrex a highly recommended brand of fungicide to consider.
Tools Needed
To use Daconil Ultrex you will need either a hose end sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig. For small spot treatments, we recommend a handheld 1-gallon pump sprayer or a hose end sprayer.
Do not use mistblowers, cold fog, or other fogging application equipment when making applications of Daconil Ultrex in greenhouses.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Daconil Ultrex Fungicide to use by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply (length X width = square footage). For turf applications on golf course greens, apply at a rate of 32.5 oz. of Daconil Ultrex Fungicide per 2 to 10 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Turf applications on golf course tees, use 23.0 oz. of product per 2 to 10 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For turf applications on fairways, roughs, lawns around commercial and industrial buildings, apply 11.6 oz. of product per 0.7 to 10 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the label for specific application rates.
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer halfway with required amount of water, add measured amount of Daconil Ultrex Fungicide, then pour in remaining half of water. Close the sprayer lid and shake to ensure even agitation.
- Step 3: Spray the mixed solution onto the leaf of the plant, placing the sprayer on a fan spray setting for even coverage. Make sure plants are dry prior to application. Do not mow or water treated areas until sprays have dried. Repeat applications can be made 14 to 21 day intervals if necessary.
