Contrac Bulk Meal Rodent Bait, manufactured by Bell Labs, is a rodenticide meal bait for controlling rodent infestations.
This granular bait contains the active ingredient Bromadiolone 0.005%, which works great because it has a highly palatable meal formulation that gets consistent rodent acceptance.
Contrac Bulk Meal Rodent Bait also contains food-grade ingredients that will immediately attract and kill rodents like roof rats, and house mice in 4 to 5 days once consumed. These rodents can consume a lethal dose in one nights feeding.
Tools Needed
Contrac Bulk Meal Rodent Bait come ready to use but it is recommended to place in tamper-resistant bait stations or place packs.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine where rodent activity is present by examining for gnaw marks, droppings, foul odors, and so forth. For Rats, apply 3 to 16 oz. of Contrac Bulk Meal Rodent Bait within tamper-resistant bait stations spaced at 15 to 30 foot intervals per placement. For mice and meadow voles, use 1/4 to 1/2 oz. (1-2 tablespoons) of product per placement spaced at 8-12 foot intervals. High levels of mice and meadow vole activity, use 2 oz. of product per placement spaced at 8 to 12 foot intervals.
- Step 2: While wearing gloves, load the appropriate amount of Contrac Bulk Meal Rodent Bait into selected tamper-resistant bait station and space at appropriate distance from other bait stations being used.
- Step 3: While wearing gloves, maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh Contrac Bulk Meal Rodent Bait for at least 15 days for mice and meadow voles and 10 days for rats until rodent activity cease. While still wearing gloves, remove all deceased rodents to prevent shyness of product. To prevent reinfestation, limit all sources of rodent food and water as much as possible.
Where to Use
Contrac Bulk Meal Rodent Bait can be used indoors and outdoors within tamper-resistant bait stations. Places to use Contrac Bulk Meal Rodent Bait are in and within 100 feet of man-made structures like homes, food processing facilities, industrial buildings, commercial buildings, trash receptacles, agricultural buildings, public buildings, transport vehicles (ships, trains, aircraft), docks, port of terminal buildings, and fences within 100 feet of these sites.
This product may also be applied to active burrows to control rats within 100 feet of buildings and man-made structures.
Indoors, place this product in bait stations along walls, gnawed openings, corners or concealed openings, between walls, or locations of rodent activity. Make sure it is a dry area and is protected from rain.
Do not apply directly to food and feed crops nor use in sewers.
When to Use
Use Contrac Meal Bulk Rodent Bait during periods of high rodent activity or when a rodent has trespassed into your home.

Contrac Bulk Meal Rodent Bait is safe to use around pets and children when applied according to product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product.
This product is extremely toxic to fish, birds, and other wildlife.
Dogs, cats, and predatory and scavenging mammals and birds might be poisoned if they feed upon animals that have eaten this bait.
