Contrac Bulk Rodent Bait Pellets
Contrac Bulk Rodent Bait Pellets
Contrac Rodenticide is a fresh tasting, highly compressed pelleted bait that holds up well, particularly in adverse or moist conditions. It is an excellent clean-out and maintenance bait to control mice and rats, including warfarin-resistant Norway rats. Contrac Pellets come packed bulk in a pail and are ideal for burrow baiting.
Contrac Bulk Rodent Bait Pellets by Bell Labs is a rodenticide bait that comes in a palatable pellet form for controlling rodent infestations. Contrac contains the active ingredient Bromadiolone. Bromadiolone is effective because it has a highly palatable meal formulation that rodents cannot resist. Contrac Meal Bulk also contains food-grade ingredients that will attract and kill Norway rats, roof rats, and house mice in 4 to 5 days once consumed. These rodents can consume a lethal dose in one nights feeding. Use Contrac Bulk Rodent Bait Pellets if you want rodents cleared out quickly.
Tools Needed
Contrac Bulk Rodent Bait Pellets come ready to use but it is recommended to place in tamper-resistant bait stations.
How to Use
- Step 1: Place the Contrac Bulk Rodent Bait Pellets around in areas you have noticed rodent activity (indicated by gnaw marks, droppings etc.) either along rodent runaways inaccessible to pets and children or place inside of tamper-resistant bait stations (especially indoors).
- Step 2: For Rats, Apply 4-16 oz of bait (at intervals of 15-30 feet) per placement in infested areas. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 10 days or until signs of rat activity cease.
For Mice: Apply ¼-½ oz. (1 - 2 level tablespoons) of bait per placement at 8-12 foot intervals in infested areas. Larger placements (up to 2 oz.) may be needed at points of very high mouse activity. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 15 days or until signs of mouse activity cease.
- Step 3: Replace contaminated or spoiled bait immediately. While wearing gloves, dispose of all exposed rodents and leftover bait. To prevent reinfestation, limit all sources of rodent food and water as much as possible.
Where to Use
Contrac Bulk Rodent Bait Pellets can be used indoors and outdoors. Common places to use Contrac Bulk Rodent Bait Pellets include residential homes, garages, attics, sheds, yards, industrial and commercial buildings, and more.
Indoors, place along walls, gnawed openings, corners or concealed openings, between walls, or locations of rodent activity. Make sure it is a dry area and is protected by rain (a bait station may help).
When to Use
Use Contrac Bulk Rodent Bait Pellets during periods of high rodent activity or when a rodent has trespassed into your home.
Safety Information
This product is safe around pets and children when applied according to label instructions. Keep out of reach of children, pets, domestic animals and non-target animals, or in tamper-resistant bait stations
Special Considerations
Bait stations are highly recommended for outdoor and indoor use to keep the bait unaffected by weather or any other elements that can reduce its palatability.
