Concert II Fungicide
Concert II Fungicide
Concert ll Fungicide, manufactured by Syngenta, is a revitalizing combination fungicide designed to function as both a systemic and contact mode of action for complete disease control against many major plant diseases within commercial ornamentals.
Offers both interior and outer disease control at efficient mixing rates, thats easy on cool-seasoned turf and other ornamentals with minimum disease resistance.
Concert ll Fungicide is made with high quality ingredients propiconazole 2.9% and chlorothalonil 38.5%, which offers the best results when used alone or mixed in with an integrated pest management program.
Tools Needed
To apply Concert ll Fungicide, you will need to use a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig.
Do not apply through any type of irrigation system.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Concert ll Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For turf, apply 1.5 to 8.3 fl. oz. of Concert ll Fungicide in 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For new seedlings and sod of cool-seasoned turfgrass, use 4.5 fl. oz. of product in 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Applications to field- and container-grown ornamental plants in nurseries, including lath houses, shade houses and landscape planting, apply 26-35 fl. oz. of product in 100 gallons of water. Refer to the label for specific application rates.
- Step 2: In a separate tank mix container, fill it with half the amount of water then add in the measured amount of Concert ll Fungicide. Add the remaining half of water then agitate the tank until mixture is dissolved. Do not allow the spray mixture to sit overnight.
- Step 3: Spray the Concert ll Fungicide to the top and bottom of foliage leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. For control of foliar diseases, allow sprayed area to completely dry before irrigation. For control of soil-borne diseases, this product can be watered in after application. Otherwise, do not water for 24 hours after treatment on turf.
Where to Use
Concert ll Fungicide can be used on cool-seasoned turf (greens, tees, and sod farm) and field- and container-grown ornamental plants in nurseries, including lath houses, shade houses and landscape plantings. It may also be used for non-bearing fruits and nuts - field and container grown and landscape plantings.
Do not use on home lawns and turf sites associated with apartment buildings, daycare centers, playgrounds, playfields, recreational park, athletic fields located on or next to schools (i.e., elementary, middle and high schools), campgrounds, churches, and theme parks. This product cannot be used in greenhouses.
When to Use
Begin Concert ll Fungicide applications before disease is present and when temperatures are below 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Apply once in the fall after grass becomes dormant or in the early spring before grass starts to grow.
This product may result in injury to buds, blooms or tender new growth. Avoid applications during bloom period on plants where flower injury is unacceptable.
