Purge III Aerosol, manufactured by FMC Technologies, is a quick and effective way to eliminate flying insects. Purge III (formerly CB Clean Air Purge III) is a metered pyrethrin aerosol.
The pyrethrin is formulated for use in automatic aerosol dispensers. It can fit Time Mist Metered Dispensers or other aerosol dispensers. The product comes in a 7.3-oz can, which fits on automatic dispensers that hold 6.4-oz cans.
Purge lll Aerosol has a metered valve to release the pyrethrin formulation every 15 minutes. Flying insect activity can be significantly reduced in as quickly as one hour.

This product will need to be applied with an automatic aerosol dispenser or other aerosol dispensers.
How to Use
- Step 1: Inspect and identify the pest you want to treat and note the active areas where they are found or are hiding. Determine how many Purge lll Aerosols to use by measuring the cubic footage of the treatment area. Do this by measuring and multiplying the length, width, and height together (length X width X height = cubic feet). One can of the Purge III Aerosol will treat up to 6,000 cubic feet of space.
- Step 2: Insert the Purge III Aerosol into a wall dispenser or TimeMist Metered Dispenser, activate it to spray, and quickly leave the room.
- Step 3: The dispenser activates the metered valve every 15 minutes to release a small amount of insecticide into the air. A 7.3-oz can be dispensed for 30 days and control labeled pests.
Where to Use
Use the Purge lll Aerosol to control flying insects in restaurant kitchens, bathrooms, commercial establishments, and food-handling areas.
Not for use in residential areas.
Do not place the metering device directly over or within 8 feet of exposed food, dishes, utensils, food processing equipment, and food handling or preparation. Do not install within 3 feet of air vents.
When to Use
Apply when you want to treat an area for flying insects safely.
Safety Information
Purge III Aerosol is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying this product.
Remove pets and birds and cover fish aquariums before application.
Special Considerations
Keep in mind that factors such as airflow rate, size of space treated, humidity, and room temperature affect insect activity and kill.
