Cirkil CX is manufactured by Terramera, the leading company in using plant based materials to make effective insecticides and ovicides that eliminate bed bugs and their eggs. This concentrated insecticide is made with 22% cold-pressed neem oil from the neem tree and has to be diluted with water before use. The vapors from Cirkil CX kills bugs hiding in cracks and crevices found in furniture and flooring.

Applied with a hand pump or pressurized sprayer, Cirkil CX safe to use on various types of surface areas. Bed bugs, cellar spiders, smoky brown cockroaches, silverfish and other insects don’t stand a chance when using Cirkil CX.

Tools Needed

To use Cirkil CX, a one-gallon hand pump or pressurized sprayer for broadcast spray and for cracks and crevices use a straw tip or pin tip nozzle.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Cirkil CX you will need by first calculating the size of the area being treated. To do this, measure (in feet) the area length times the width (length x width = square footage). Cirkil CX should be mixed with 1 quart (32 oz.) of concentrate with 3 parts water to cover 200-800 sq. ft. per diluted gallon.
• Step 2: Pour 32 oz of water into a sprayer tank before adding Cirkil CX to prevent chemical splashing.  Add the 32 oz jug of Cirkil CX to the sprayer tank followed by 64 oz of more water to make one gallon.
• Step 3: Spray the desired surface areas until they are wet. For continuous control, respray areas within 2 to 3 weeks or as needed. 

Where to Use

Cirkil CX is for treating large indoor spaces such as houses, apartments, college dorms, hospitals, shelters, offices, hotels, restaurants and other places bed bugs and other listed pests are a nuisance. It is safe to spray Cirkil CX on travel bags, mattresses, wooden furniture, carpets, curtains, baseboards and wall decor to kill target pests. When applying the product, be sure to spray in and around cracks, crevices, trufts, folds and other hard to reach surfaces found on mattresses, bed frames, baseboards, closet spaces, and furniture.

When to Use

Cirkil CX can be used as a prevention method in places where target pests may enter or where many people frequently visit. The residual effects will kill adult bed bugs for up to 2 weeks and bed bug eggs for up to 3 weeks. If using as a quick kill method, spray directly on pests when first noticed.

Safety Information

When used according to the label, Cirkil CX is safe for humans and pets. Allow the area to dry for up to 4 hours before coming in contact. Cirkil CX is flammable, do not use around sources of heat or fire. Do not spray into electrical outlets. If spraying on or near electrical objects, unplug before spraying and let dry before plugging it back in. Avoid contact with eyes and wash hands thoroughly after handling. 

Special Considerations

Always spray a small spot on surfaces to make sure it will not stain or discolor the item being treated. You may want to also purchase bed bug monitors to catch the problem as soon as possible or to be sure the pests did not spread to other rooms and areas. For best results, close all windows, doors, turn off fans and air units, then turn items back on when the area has dried.
