Acephate 97UP Insecticide, manufactured by UPI, is an insecticide that comes in a water soluable formulation and provides reliable contact and systemic control of a wide spectrum of sucking and chewing insects.
This powerful product targets more than 44+ species of insect pests that include, Armyworms, Cutworms, Ants, Soybean Loopers, earworms, orange bugs, and many more. Suitable for cotton, soybean, peanuts, tobacco, vegetables, cranberries, and dry beans, this water dispersible dry formulation is effective in both crop and non-crop environments.
Acephate 97 UP Insecticide is a systemic insecticide that is absorbed by plant roots and foliage, providing systemic control of feeding insects. Insects are controlled through ingestion.
Tools Needed
To use Acephate 97UP Insecticide you will need either a tank sprayer or spraying rig. This product can also be applied through aerial, airblast, and through chemigation (cranberry only).
How to Use
- Step 1: Fill the spray tank one-third to one-half full of clean water and then add the required amount of Acephate 97UP Insecticide to the tank. The rate of Acephate 97UP varies depending on the pest you are trying to control.
- Step 2: Once mixed, apply either via ground or aerial application making sure to get thorough coverage of the target crop.
- Step 3: Apply when insects first appear or when damage is first noted and repeat applications at 3 day spray intervals as necessary to maintain control.

For outdoor use only. For use on crops of cotton, tobacco, certian fruits, peanuts, and certian non-crop areas. See label for full listing of covered areas.

Safety Information
Acephate 97UP Insecticide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing or applying this product.
Acephate 97 is toxic to birds. Do not apply when bees are actively visiting treatment ares, this product is highly toxic to bees when exposed to direct treatment on blooming crops or weeds.
Special Considerations
Store in temperature stable enviroment (cool and dry) for longer lasting results. Do not store near food or feed.
