Chipco 26019 FLO Fungicide, manufactured by Bayer, is a foliar applied fungicide that provides economical disease control on warm-seasoned and cool-seasoned turf and ornamentals in 14 days.

Prevents foliar and soilborne diseases including fusarium blight and alternaria leaf blight on over 80 ornamental plants in greenhouses and nurseries and commercial turf.

Chipco 26019 FLO Fungicide features a unique chemical mode of action that aids as a rotational tool for disease resistance management on all stages of crop development, including plants in bloom.

Tools Needed

To use Chipco 26019 FLO Fungicide, you will need aircraft or mechanical ground equipment (groundboom, airblast, etc.) such as a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig.

This product may be used in sprinkler irrigation systems including center pivot. Do not apply this product through any other type of irrigation system.

Do not mix with any sticker, extender, or wetting agent.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Chipco 26019 FLO Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For greens and tees on golf courses and fairways and other turf areas, use 3 to 4 oz. of Chipco 26019 FLO Fungicide in 0.5 to 10 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For all other turf, you will use between 4-8 oz. of product in 0.5 to 10 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. depending on the disease. Do not make more than 6 applications per year or exceed a total of 35 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. per year. Depending on the disease, application method, and species of ornamental, you will use either 1.0-2.5 quarts of product in 100 gallons of water for foliar sprays, 13 fl. oz. (1-2 pints) of product per square foot in 100 gallons of water as a drench application, or 1.0-2.0 quarts of product in 100 gallons of water as a dip application. Do make more than 4 applications per crop per year or apply more than 2.5 quarts of product per acre per application for ornamentals.
  • Step 2: Fill your sprayer with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Chipco 26019 FLO Fungicide, then pour in the remaining half of water into the spray tank. Secure the lid and agitate the tank until the solution is completely mixed.
  • Step 3: Adjust the sprayer to deliver a low pressure spray, then apply as a foliar application directly to the top and bottom of turf and ornamental leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Do not mow or irrigate treated areas until the foliage is completely dry, usually a 24-hour waiting period following treatment is preferred. Repeat applications every 14 to 28 days if needed.

Where to Use

Chipco 26019 FLO Fungicide can be applied to turf on golf courses, sod farms, and institutional areas where fine turf is grown. It may also be used on ornamental flowering and foliage plants in field, landscape, and greenhouse ornamentals and conifer nurseries.

This product cannot be applied to residential sites. Do not apply this product on Spathiphyllum.

When to Use

Apply Chipco 26019 FLO Fungicide when light to moderate disease infestation is present or during the spring, summer, and fall when disease conditions are favorable for disease development as a preventative treatment.

This product may be applied if the turf remains frozen prior to snow cover. Reapply this product if a winter thaw and loss of snow cover occurs.

For golf courses only, do not apply to turf cut higher than 1” on golf holes where water bodies are present.
