The Catchmaster Bedbug Detection System (BDS) traps from Catchmaster is a useful tool to help catch a bed bug infestation early before it gets worse. The BDS can be used on infested or non-infested rooms to detect bed bugs and helps to determine if a previously infested room is still infested or if it the infestation has moved to another room.

The Catchmaster BDS recreates the ideal spot for luring bed bugs, such as cracks, crevices, and creases like you would find in wooden furniture or in mattresses. Once the bedbugs move their way in, they become stuck to the adhesive and be unable to get out. Use it as an effective and economical addition to a bed bug control program for your home or business (hotels, dorm rooms etc).

Tools Needed

The Catchmaster BDS comes ready to use and you do not need to utilize any tools to set it up.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Separate one of the BDG monitors from the pack.
  • Step 2: Pull the paper back off the front of the BDS to reveal the 10 little glue dots and strips.
  • Step 3: Fold the BDS over slightly, leaving a small gap that will be enough for bed bugs to come through and crawl inside.
  • Step 4: Place the BDS monitor in areas you want to check for bed bug problems.
  • Step 5: Check back a few days after placement to see if the BDS has captured bed bugs.

Where to Use

The Catchmaster BDS can be used anywhere you would like to check for a bed bug problem and monitor bed bug activity. They can be placed in cabinets, on furniture, bed frames, base boards and other suspicious areas.

When to Use

The Catchmaster BDS is an early detection system for bed bug control. Use this either before you have had a bed bug treatment to monitor the presence of bed bugs or after you have treated for bed bugs to see if they are still present.
