Brewer Cide-Kick II Surfactant

Brewer Cide-Kick ll Surfactant, manufactured by Brewer International, is an impressive non-ionic surfactant that improves spray coverage, penetration, and uptake for pesticides, especially for tough-to-control brush, weeds, aquatic plants, and forestry pests.

Unlike traditional surfactants, which simply help a spray stick to plant surfaces, Brewer Cide-Kick II also helps chemicals penetrate waxy or hairy leaf surfaces, cut through tough plant cuticles, and reach systemic pathways, making it ideal for use with hard-to-control perennial weeds, woody brush, or aquatic vegetation.

Brewer Cide-Kick ll Surfactant is a professional non-ionic surfactant that works on land and aquatic settings, making it versatile for any pest or weed scenario. It is formulated with d-limonene, a powerful natural solvent derived from citrus peels. This ingredient acts as a penetrant and carrier, improving herbicide and pesticide uptake into plants, insects, or fungi. This makes it far more effective than water-based surfactants in stubborn or waxy plant species.

Tools Needed

It can be used with a hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or spray rig. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Read your selected pesticide label to determine if it is compatible with this surfactant. For surface aquatic applications, use 1-2 quarts of Brewer Cide-Kick ll Surfactant per 100 gallons of spray solution. For submerged aquatic sites, apply 1-2 gallons of product per 100 gallons of spray solution. To treat agricultural, citrus, and turf, apply 1-2 pints of product per 100 gallons of spray solution. For forest site preparation, use 1-2 quarts of product per 100 gallons of spray solution. For foliar applications on utility rights-of-way and roadside, apply 1 pint or 2 quarts of product per 100 gallons of spray solution. 
• Step 2: Fill the tank with water until it’s half full. Add the primary herbicide or pesticide product. Add Brewer Cide-Kick II at the appropriate rate. Agitate the tank thoroughly. Add the remaining water to the desired spray volume. Continue mixing during application.
• Step 3: Spray according to the pesticide label instructions.
