Bosch HC2087 1/2" X 18" SDS Plus Drill Bit, manufactured by robert bosch, is a high-quality hammer drill bit used to drill quickly through thick concrete slabs. The 18-inch drill allows you to penetrate through the toughest of concrete slabs and block, so you can easily apply termiticide products into the hole. The design of the bit has 4 grooves (2 open grooves, 2 closed groves) and can be used with sds plus drills. The design allows the bit to reach full depth through concrete slabs and to pull out smoothly.

For home termite treatments, you will need to complete a perimeter barrier, including the soil underneath the concrete slab. Bosch HC2087 1/2" X 18" SDS Plus Drill Bit cuts holes easily into the concrete within seconds. When drilling holes into concrete slabs it is ideal to apply termiticide products.

Tools Needed

To use bosch hc2087 1/2" X 18" sds plus drill bit you will need an sds plus power drill when drilling into concrete slabs. You will also need an appropriate termiticide product to inject into the drilled holes.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Attach the bosch hc2087 1/2" X 18" sds plus drill bit to a sds plus power drill and drill into the concrete slab to access soil for injection. When drilling holes, you should place them about three inches from the residence or commercial building and around 10 to 12 inches apart around the perimeter.
  • Step 2: Inject the termiticide treatment into the areas where the holes have been drilled.

Where to Use

Bosch HC2087 1/2" X 18" SDS Plus Drill Bit can be used outside and inside your residence or commercial building to deeply penetrate concrete slabs or blocks. Deep penetration in concrete slabs is ideal to reach termites residing under the slab or in wall voids.

When to Use
