Bonide Systemic Houseplant Insect Control Granules
Bonide Systemic Houseplant Insect Control Granules is a simple, effective insecticide granule that offers excellent control over tough insect infestations in potted plants for up to 8 weeks.
09/25/25
Bonide Systemic Houseplant Insect Control Granules, manufactured by Bonide, is an easy-to-use systemic insecticide granule that helps to keep residential containerized plants healthy and pest-free, including new growth.
These imidacloprid-based granules work systemically to protect plants from within, targeting pests like aphids, whiteflies, scale, and more. Once absorbed, the active ingredient circulates through the plant's vascular system, providing internal protection against sap-sucking pests.
Bonide Systemic Houseplant Insect Control Granules is a long-lasting systemic insecticide granule that helps homeowners to better enjoy potted plants and keep them healthy and thriving. Whether you are dealing with an active infestation or simply want to prevent future pest activity, these granules will provide reliable protection for all your favorite houseplants for at least 2 months.
Tools Needed
You will need a chemical-purpose tablespoon, teaspoon, or cup depending on your plant container size.
How to Use
- Step 1: Carefully read the product label, because depending on the plant container size the rates will vary. To treat a 1-gallon container, use 2.5 tablespoons of Bonide Systemic Houseplant Insect Control Granules.
- Step 2: While wearing gloves, pour the proper amount of granules evenly to the top of the soil. Mix the granules thoroughly into the top layer of the soil making sure not to damage the upper roots. Work granules into top 1 to 2 inches of soil. For flower beds, sprinkle granules evenly over the bed.
- Step 3: Water the granules in thoroughly. To help assure that the roots can absorb the insecticide, do not water too heavily for the first 10 days. Applications should be made every 8 weeks during the growing season.
Where to Use
Bonide Systemic Houseplant Insect Control Granules are for residential containerized plants (non-edible only).
