Bonide Wilt Stop RTU Plant Protector, manufactured by Bonide, is a trusted ready-to-use plant protector solution that provides an easy and effective way to maintain plant health throughout the seasons with a clear coating. 

This natural, anti-transparent spray is specially formulated from pine tree resin to form a transparent, flexible coating on plant surfaces. This unique coating will help minimize water loss from plants caused by environmental stresses.

Bonide Wilt Stop RTU Plant Protector is a convenient ready-to-spray plant protector that helps to keep Christmas trees, evergreens and other foliage from drying out due to drought, wind burn, sun scald, winter kill, transplant shock, salt damage, while still allowing treated foliage to grow naturally. 

Tools Needed

No additional tools are needed. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Shake well before using. 
• Step 2: Spray the top and bottom of leaves, needles, and stems to the point of runoff. Allow the treated foliage to dry outdoors in daylight. Only one application per season is typically needed.

Where to Use

Bonide Wilt Stop RTU Plant Protector can be used on evergreens, trees, shrubs, turf, flowers, vegetables, bulbs, houseplants, transplants, and dormant and growing plants.

Do not use on African violets or exotic, slow-growing dwarf plants.

When to Use

Spray once each season when the temperature is above freezing so that spray will not freeze on foliage. 

Sunlight is needed for the protective film to properly set.

Do not use for winter protection where temperatures drop below – 30 degrees Celsius.

Bonide Wilt Stop RTU Plant Protector is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product. 

Special Considerations

When spraying on arborvitae, cypress, juniper, and cedar, be aware that if species have not sufficiently hardened off for the winter whereby moisture retreats to the root system, moisture in plant cells could freeze and burst if early severe freezing weather should occur.

Wilt stop may turn blue spruce and similar species of evergreen a green color. If this occurs, natural coloring will return with the next season's growth.
