Bonide Root & Grow Plant Starter Concentrate
Bonide Root & Grow Plant Starter Concentrate is an invaluable liquid fertilizer with IBA growth hormones that provides houseplants, vegetables, and other ornamentals a healthy start.
Bonide Root & Grow Plant Starter Concentrate, manufactured by Bonide, is a highly effective liquid fertilizer that gives ornamentals, trees, shrubs, and other foliage a strong start for residential plant owners.
This product contains a blend of nutrients and growth stimulators that stimulate strong root systems, ensuring various plants establish quickly and thrive in their new environments with minimum risk of transplant shock. By establishing a strong root system early on, plants are better equipped to absorb water and nutrients, leading to more beautiful and healthier foliage, fruits, and flowers.
Bonide Root & Grow Plant Starter Concentrate simplifies the planting process and ensures the success of vegetables, fruits, berries, and other ornamentals in terms of bloomage and crop yield.
Tools Needed
This product can be applied with a backpack sprayer or a handheld pump sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Bonide Root & Grow Plant Starter Concentrate to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For broadcast applications on ornamental plants, use 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 fl. oz. of Bonide Root & Grow Plant Starter Concentrate per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. To treat established plants, use 1 gallon of diluted solution per 250 sq. ft. For houseplants, apply 1/2 cup of diluted solution per quart of soil (a 6 in. pot holds approximately 1 quart). Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and agitate until the solution is mixed.
- Step 3: For general ornamental care, pour the diluted solution over the soil as the roots are being covered, making sure that the roots are wet with the solution. Wet soil around the plant with water after planting.
