Bonide Eight Insect Control Garden & Home RTU, manufactured by Bonide, is an effective ready-to-use bug defense insecticide designed to control a broad-spectrum of pests on lawns, trees, shrubs, and over 60 varieties of ornamentals.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Bonide Eight Insect Control Garden & Home RTU to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage).  One quart of Bonide Eight Insect Control Garden & Home RTU will treat 62.5 sq. ft. 
• Step 2: For the 1-gallon size it will come with a sprayer wand. To use you will simply remove  sprayer wand from the holster and pull the sprayer cord all the way out. Cut cable tie which holds pump handle. Rotate pump handle clockwise to unlock. Pump the handle until pressure has built up in the container. Squeeze the lever on the sprayer wand to spray the product.
• Step 3: Apply thoroughly as a foliar spray to both sides of plant leaves and all plant surfaces where insects are present. Push handle down, rotate counterclockwise to lock in place. To avoid extreme wetting and waste of the 1 gallon size, adjust the nozzle to narrow fan spray. Hold the sprayer about 1 foot from the plant and spray just enough to cover the area that is to be treated.
• Step 4: To significantly reduce the potential for entry into buildings by crawling pests, apply a constant band of insecticide around the building foundation. Apply as a spot or crack and crevice spray around windows, doors, eaves, vents, and other areas. Apply a 3 ft. band around the structure and upwards along the foundation to 3 feet. Apply as a spot or crack-and-crevice spray around windows, doors, and roof overhangs. For the insecticide to reach the soil or thatch layer where pests may be active, apply as a coarse spray to completely wet the foundation and/or band area.

Bonide Eight Insect Control Garden & Home RTU can be used on vegetables, roses, lawns, flowers, shrubs, trees, and other outdoor plants and surfaces.

For use outdoors around the home only.

When to Use

For optimum results, apply early prior to high insect populations. You may also make applications when you see the pest directly in your line of sight or when you notice signs of their activity.

Do not make applications when rainfall is expected within the next 24 hours of treatment.

Safety Information

Bonide Eight Insect Control Garden & Home RTU is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product.

Do not allow people or pets into the treated area until dry.

Special Considerations

This product will not stain most home siding. However, before using, it is recommended to test on the siding (vinyl in particular) in an area that is not readily visible. Recheck after a few hours. If any staining is observed, do not use.
