BlueMax Mini Blocks is manufactured by Liphatech and is formulated with the anticoagulant Difethialone to quickly eliminate rats and mice. The mini bait blocks are made with mold inhibitors and paraffin wax to ensure they do not spoil and get ruined in humid areas. BlueMax Mini Blocks can easily be placed in between walls and directly into rodent burrows to reach the rodents where they hide.

To signify that the rodents are eating the bait, the blue marker dye in the bait will appear in rodent droppings. The blocks will not break apart into crumbs when fed on and will not be easily scattered by rodents, making it ideal for use in food services areas. BlueMax Mini Blocks are efficient with heavy infestations and safe for indoor and outdoor use.

Tools Needed

Tools are not needed for the application of BlueMax Mini Blocks. But when using bait blocks outdoors, a tamper-proof bait station is required. Always wear gloves when handling bait and bait stations to keep rodents from smelling human scents.

BlueMax Mini Block

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine the areas where the target rodent(s) has been active and will most likely consume the bait (along walls, gnawed openings, corners, concealed places etc.). Proceed to remove as much alternative food as possible with a thorough cleanup.
  • Step 2: In tamper-proof bait stations, place 1 to 2 blocks per placement 8 to 12 feet apart for mice and 5 to 23 blocks per placement for rats spaced 15 to 30 feet apart.
  • Step 3: Monitor bait stations and maintain a fresh supply of bait by removing old bait and replenishing the stations with new blocks of bait. Continue to replenish stations with bait for 10 days or until the target rodent(s) is/are found dead and activity has ceased.

Where to Use

Bait Station placement

BlueMax Mini Blocks can be used inside and outside residential, commercial and industrial areas where mice and rat activity have been identified. Blocks can be applied near trash receptacles, in transport equipment such as ships, trains, and aircraft. Bait blocks can be inserted directly into rodent burrows.

BlueMax Mini Blocks cannot be broadcast outdoors and cannot be applied to food or feed crop areas. BlueMax Mini Blocks are ideal for use in damp areas susceptible to mold, humid areas, and places where moisture is a concern.

When to Use

BlueMax Mini Blocks can be applied anytime rodent activity is suspected or confirmed.

Safety Information

BlueMax Mini Blocks are safe to use around children, pets and other wildlife when applied according to the product label. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying BlueMax Mini Blocks.

Special Considerations

BlueMax Mini Blocks come in 16-pound buckets with 363 bait blocks in each.

Keith's Pro Tips"When baiting for rodents, you should first leave the bait station in an active area unbaited. After a few days pass, then add bait to the station. This gives rodents time to get accustomed to the station and lulls them into a false sense of security so they won't avoid the station when baited."

  4. Q:A friend small dog got ahold of the blue max but didn't eat much will it hurt the dog and what should we do?

A:When this occurs you should always contact poison control from the label and contact a vet. You can induce vomiting if caught immediately by pouring peroxide down the animals mouth and make sure some is ingested. Vitamin K is the antidote for accidental poisoning. We always recommend that rodent bait be placed in a secure bait station. https://www.solutionsstores.com/aegis-rp-rodent-bait-station
