Bird B Gone Bird Chase Super Sonic Control Unit
Bird B Gone Bird Chase Super Sonic Control Unit is a sound-based bird deterrent that uses predator and distress calls to help keep birds like pigeons, starlings, gulls, and more away from buildings, patios, and open areas.
04/04/26
Bird B Gone Bird Chase Super Sonic Control Unit, manufactured by Bird B Gone, is a high-tech sonic bird repeller that utilizes natural bird distress calls and predator cries to effectively scare away pest birds from large open spaces.
The device broadcasts distress and predator calls from over 24 different species, which helps to target a wide range of pest bird species. The diversity in calls likely helps prevent birds from becoming accustomed to a single type of sound. This flexibility lets users adjust when and how often the sounds are played, helping to optimize effectiveness. The system’s ability to run for about 2 minutes every 10 minutes is designed to continuously disturb the birds without overwhelming them.
Bird B Gone Bird Chase Super Sonic Control Unit is a well-crafted UV-protected and weatherproof bird repellent system that covers up to 1 acre. You also have the option to add additional speakers to extend this coverage up to 5 acres. This makes it ideal for larger open spaces or commercial properties with bird issues.
Tools Needed
The Control Box has two screw hole mounts on the back of the box. When mounting to a post, side of a building or other surface, use at least 1-1/2” long screws. Be sure to leave at least 3/8” to 1/2” of the screw exposed so that the control box can be easily hung and secured to the surface.
How to Use
- Step 1: Remove contents from the box.
- Step 2: To access the Control Box located on the front of the unit, open the clear weatherproof cover by pressing down on the gray tabs with both thumbs while lifting up the middle tab.
- Step 3: Ensure that the Power Switch is in the “OFF” position.
- Step 4: Adjust the Volume Control to the "MIN" position by turning the volume dial counterclockwise to the lowest position.
- Step 5: Plug the AC Adaptor into the 110v Power Source. For 220v, use adaptor purchased separately. AC ADAPTOR MUST BE PROTECTED. DO NOT LEAVE IT EXPOSED TO THE ELEMENTS, DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD. Plug it into an indoor or protected receptacle.
- Step 6: Find the Power Jack on the side of the operating unit (labeled POWER INPUT). Connect the power cord to the POWER INPUT jack.
- Step 7: Flip the Power Switch to the "ON" position. The red Power Light will indicate that the unit is powered on and ready for programming. The LED display will show icons for Sun (daytime), Moon (nighttime), and Sound.
