How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Biathlon Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For general applications, apply 2.3 lbs. of Biathlon Herbicide per 1,000 sq. ft. Field-grown ornamentals, Christmas, and conifer farms will use 100 pounds of product per acre per application. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Adjust the spreader to the proper setting, then load the correct amount of granules.
- Step 3: Remove established weeds prior to application; broadcast Biathlon Herbicide evenly over the treatment area. After application, irrigate the treated area with 0.5 inches of water. Repeat application at 3-month intervals.
Where to Use
Biathlon Herbicide can be used in field and container ornamentals, grounds maintenance, and other specified non-crop areas. It is also for evergreens (broadleaf and needle) limited to Christmas tree farms and conifer farms.
When to Use
Apply this product prior to weed seed germination in the early spring or fall or following a complete weed removal.
