Bell Ditrac Cake Rodent Bait
Bell Ditrac Cake Rodent Bait
Ditrac All-Weather Cake is manufactured by Bell Laboratories, Inc. and is a rodenticide designed to control Norway rats, roof rats, and house mice. The bait is peanut flavored and is both mold-resistant and moisture-resistant. Its active ingredient is diphacinone, an anticoagulant which is a slow-killing chemical. This allows you to treat for multiple rodents while baiting.
Tools Needed
Be sure to wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) before handling or applying product. A tamper-resistant bait station is recommended to use this product. This will ensure that children and pets cannot access or consume any bait.
How to Use:
- Step 1: Start by determining areas that have high rodent activity. These areas are generally along walls, by gnawed openings, in corners, concealed places and along walls. These are the areas where you will use bait stations.
- Step 2: In your stations, apply the correct amount of Ditrac. The application rate depends on the type of rodent you are trying to control. For mice and meadow voles, use one 1-ounce piece per station. For severe infestations, use two 1-ounce pieces. Place the stations 8 to 12 feet apart. For rats, use four to sixteen 1-ounce pieces. The higher amount should be used for severe infestations. Place the stations 15 to 30 feet apart.
- Step 3: Check the bait stations often, refilling bait when necessary. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 10 to 15 days or until signs of rodent activity ceases.
Where to Use
Ditrac All-Weather Cake can only be used indoors and within 100 feet of man-made structures, such as homes, food processing facilities, industrial and commercial buildings, port or terminal buildings, trash receptacles, or agricultural and public buildings.
When to Use
Ditrac All-Weather Cake should be used when rodent activity is noticed indoors or outdoors.

Q:Is this harmful for puppies is they accidentally eat it?2/19/21A:My 18 month grandson bit into a piece of an old block of this. I am pretty confident that he did not swallow any because I got him almost immediately after he bit it. Poison control said he would have to ingest a lot more for it would harm him. Just want to be sure.
