This product may be used in solid set irrigation systems. Do not apply this product through any other type of irrigation system.

Aerial application is permitted to sodfarm turfgrass only.

How to Use

Backpack Sprayer Spraying

  • Step 1: Determine how much Bayleton 50 WSP Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For turfgrass applications, use between 0.5 to 2 oz. of Bayleton 50 WSP Fungicide in 2 to 4 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. depending on the disease. For general disease control on listed ornamentals, mix 5.5 oz. of product in 275 to 550 gallons of water. Applications in non-commercial greenhouses during the winter, use 0.5 oz of product in 50 gal of water or 5.5 oz of product in 550 gal of water. Applications in non-commercial greenhouses during the summer, apply 1 oz. of product in 50 gal of water or 5.5 oz. of product in 275 gallon of water. For Christmas Trees (except Concolor Fir), use 8 oz. of product in 100 gallons of water per acre. For pine seedlings, use 4 to 16 oz. of product in 100 gallons of water per acre. To treat pine seeds in nurseries, use 2 oz. of product. Refer to the label for specific application rates and restrictions.
  • Step 2: To prepare the spray mixture, begin by filling the tank with half the amount of required water, and drop the proper amount of unopened water soluble packets of Bayleton 50 WSP Fungicide into the water. Fill the sprayer with the remaining half of water then wait until the packets are completely dissolved (which should be completely dissolved within a few minutes from the time they were added to the water) before mixing.
  • Step 3: Once the Bayleton 50 WSP Fungicide is completely mixed, spray the top and bottom of foliage at a height no greater than 4 feet above the ground until the leaves are wet, but not to the point of runoff. Allow the foliage to dry completely before any type of irrigation is performed. Retreat when at least 14 days have passed after the previous application.

Where to Use

Bayleton 50 WSP Fungicide can be used on flowers, foliage plants, shrubs, shade trees and turf grass including residential turf, sodfarm turf, golf courses, commercial lawns and grounds, gardens or parks and interior plantscapes.

Application to trees that bear fruit or nuts is prohibited. Applications are permitted on non-bearing fruit or nut trees only.

Do not use on crops grown for food or forage.

When to Use

Apply Bayleton 50 WSP Fungicide when diseases are present or before they appear on plants that are fully established and actively growing. Applications are best done after mowing for turfgrass treatments.

Application to golf courses, including tees, greens, fairways, and roughs, is permitted only if the turfgrass is 2.5 inches or less in height.

Do not apply over snow cover, or when turf is dormant.

Safety Information

Bayleton 50 WSP Fungicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Do not use clippings for animal feed.

Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried.

Special Considerations

Do not use Bayleton 50 WSP Fungicide packets in a tank-mix with products that contain boron or release free chlorine. The resultant reaction of PVA and boron or free chlorine is a plastic which is not soluble in water or solvents such a diesel oils, kerosene, gasoline or alcohol.

Rainfall or sprinkler irrigation, within 30 minutes after application does not decrease effectiveness. Control may be less effective on plants suffering from drought stress.
