Tools Needed
To apply Batalium Amped Herbicide, you will need to use an aerial application equipment or spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Batalium Amped Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Apply 16 fl. oz. of Batalium Amped Herbicide per 8-15 gallons of water acre for ground equipment or 16 fl. oz. of product per 3 or 5 gallons of water per acre with aerial application equipment. Make only one application per year.
- Step 2: Ensure the spray-tank is clean. In-line strainers and nozzle screens must be clean and 50 to 80 mesh or coarser. Fill the spray tank with water that has a temperature of at least 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Add the appropriate rate of Batalium Amped Herbicide and any additional pesticide or adjuvant. Fill the spray-tank to the required level with the remaining amount of water. Mixed the material together until it has evenly mixed in water. For best results, apply mixed spray within 4 hours after mixing.
- Step 3: Spray the Batalium Amped Herbicide mixture 3 feet above the wheat crop to the point of wet, but not runoff when making ground equipment applications. When using aerial application equipment, spray above the wheat at height that is no greater than 10 feet.
Where to Use
Batalium Amped Herbicide can only be applied to spring, durum and winter wheat.
When to Use
Use Batalium Amped Herbicide before grassy weeds exceed 1-4 leaves and before broadleaf weeds exceed 4" in height. Otherwise make applications to durum and winter wheat from 2-leaf stage up to 60 days prior to harvest. Winter wheat applications can be made in the fall or spring.
Avoid applications when rainfall is expected to occur 48 hours after application.
Safety Information
Batalium Amped Herbicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
