B&G Rod Screw VT-612
B&G Rod Screw VT-612
The B&G VT-612 Rod Screw by B&G Equipment Company is specifically sold for use as a replacement part for B&G VSub Slab Injector Termite tool. The Rod Screw is an essential piece located on the valve trigger assembly on the B&G Sub Slab Injector tool. If your B&G Versatool's valve trigger has a loose fit or is not working correctly, some parts may need to be replaced on it, including the rod screw.
Tools Needed
To use the VT-612 Lock Screw, you will need the B&G Versatool Sub Slab Injector. You will also need an adjustable wrench.
How to Use
- Step 1: Following the manufacturer instructions for details and using an adjustable wrench, disassemble the trigger valve assembly, making sure to keep all the small nuts, screws and springs in a safe spot.
- Step 2: Remove the older VT-612 Rod Screw and then replace with the VT-612 Lock Screw and make sure it is secured tightly to the valve trigger with the help of the hex nuts.
- Step 3: Reassemble the Sub Slab Injector tool, making sure to tighten all parts so they are secure and then test the injector out to make sure it is working correctly with no further problems.
Where to Use
The VT-612 Rod Screw is used primarily for the B&G Sub Slab Injector termite application tool. It is located on the valve trigger assembly of the tool. The B&G Sub Slab Injector is used for injecting termiticide under concrete slab around the home to create a protective termite barrier.
When to Use
Replace the VT-612 Rod Screw when your Sub Slab Injector trigger valve is not working properly or is leaking where trigger attaches to the valve.
Safety Information
B&G Rod Screw VT-612 is safe to use when installed according to the manual directions. Keep the part out of reach of pets or small children.
Special Considerations
B&G Rod Screw VT-612 is specifically for the B&G Sub Slab Injector Termite application tool. It would be wise when replacing the Rod screw to also replace the trigger lock, spring and lock screw since all of these start to rust and wear over time.
