The B&G Plunger Nut P-269-SS is manufactured by B&G Equipment Company and is a replacement part necessary in repairing the valve assembly in a B&G pump sprayer. The B&G Plunger Nut holds the plunger rod in place inside the pump assembly. If your sprayer fails to pressurize when you pump it or has weak pressure, the plunger nut is one of the parts that may need to be replaced to get your sprayer working as it should once again.
Tools Needed
To use the B&G Plunger Nut, you will need a B&G Sprayer with and an adjustable crescent wrench.
How to Use
- Step 1: Take the Pump Assembly out of the tank.
- Step 2: Disassemble the Pump assembly by removing the handle, Pump Lock Spring. You will then see the pump cap and the Plunger Rod directly connected to it. The plunger rod is held securely via the B&G Plunger nut. Remove the old plunger nut and replace it with the new plunger nut.
- Step 3: Reassemble the pump assembly and put it back in the tank then test the product out to make sure that the tank ins pressurizing properly.

The B&G Plunger Nut is used as a replacement part on B&G Sprayers as part of the pump assembly. It is used to hold the plunger rod in place.
