Azoxy D Select Fungicide

Azoxy D Select Fungicide, manufactured by Prime Source LLC, is a powerful, systemic fungicide that delivers up to 28 days of broad-spectrum, preventive and curative control for over 20 diseases in golf course turfgrasses. 

Combining two powerful active ingredients azoxystrobin and difenoconazole this product offers a unique one-two punch against some of the most stubborn and damaging turfgrass diseases such as brown patch, dollar spot, and fairy ring. Unlike some fungicides, Azoxy D Select Fungicide doesn’t cause growth regulation effects or phytotoxicity, which means turf keeps its natural vigor, growth, and playability. Plus, it has exceptional rainfastness, rapid uptake, and no heat restrictions, making it a reliable partner even during tough summer months.

Tools Needed

A handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig will be needed. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Azoxy D Select Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the disease, apply 0.3 to 0.725 fl. oz. of Azoxy D Select Fungicide per 2 to 4 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For broader applications, mix 13.1 to 31.6 fl. oz. of product per 30 to 450 gallons of water per acre. Do not apply more than 64 fl. oz. of product per acre per year (1.47 fl. oz. of product per 1000 square feet per year).
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until well-mixed. 
• Step 3: Ensure even coverage across the turf canopy, including the top and bottom of leaves. Spray to the point of wet, but not runoff. To control soil diseases, irrigate lightly after application. Repeat the application within 14 to 28 days after the first application.
