Asulox Herbicide
09/27/25
Asulox Herbicide, manufactured by United Phosphorus, is a powerful commercial herbicide that clears troublesome perennial grasses from various agricultural and non-cropland sites, greatly increasing production.
Derived from the sodium salt of asulam 36.2%, Asulox Herbicide effectively controls emerged weeds down to their roots for complete elimination.
Asulox Herbicide provides a clear and unobstructed look for crops such as sugarcane, ornamentals, and more, so it's sure to greatly increase the number of agricultural and commercial plant owners.
Tools Needed
You will need to use a spray rig or an aircraft.
Do not apply this product through any type of irrigation systems.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Asulox Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Apply 6 to 8 pints of Asulox Herbicide per 15 to 100 gallons of water per acre for sugarcane. Depending on the weed, apply either 1 gallon of product in 20 to 100 gallons of water per acre or 7-8 pints of product per 20 to 100 gallons of water per acre for non-cropland. Applications for Christmas tree plantings will use 1 gallon of product in 20 gallons of water per acre. Sod farm turf will use 5 pints of product in 20 to 50 gallons of water per acre. For ornamentals, use 1 gallon of product in 20 gallons of water per acre.
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Asulox Herbicide, then pour in the remaining half of water. Close the sprayer tank lid and shake or stir until solution is mixed.
- Step 3: Apply the Asulox Herbicide as a fine mist to the top and bottom of weed leaves to the point of wet. Two applications may also be used when treating weed species that germinate at different times during one growing season for sugarcane. All other application sites are limited to one application per season.
Where to Use
Asulox Herbicide can only be used for agricultural and commercial sugarcane, non-cropland, Christmas tree plantings, turf (sod farms only), and ornamentals.
When to Use
Asulox Herbicide should be applied when weeds are between the stages of early seedling and early seedhead formation.
Do not apply to turf that is under stress or freshly mowed.
