Formulated with a non-leaching ammoniacal nitrogen 21% and chemically compounded with sulfate sulfur 24%, which helps to promote a quick nutrient release for depleted foliage.

To use APF Ammonium Sulfate 21-0-0 Fertilizer, you will need a handheld spreader or broadcast spreader.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much APF Ammonium Sulfate 21-0-0 Fertilizer to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Apply 5 lbs. of APF Ammonium Sulfate 21-0-0 Fertilizer per 1,000 sq. ft. of turfgrass and ornamentals. For flowers, shrubs, and hedges use 0.5 lbs. of product per 100 sq. ft. For shade trees, and/or fruit and nut trees, apply 0.5 lbs. of product per inch of the trunk's diameter.
• Step 2: Load your spreader with the measured amount of APF Ammonium Sulfate 21-0-0 Fertilizer. Calibrate your spreader based on its type. Begin walking back and forth across the treated area being careful to avoid overlap of product. To avoid this, it would be best to start from the outer perimeter then walk across the middle of the treatment area.
• Step 3: After application, water areas treated with APF Ammonium Sulfate 21-0-0 Fertilizer thoroughly.

Where to Use

Apply APF Ammonium Sulfate 21-0-0 Fertilizer on established turf, high nitrogen crops such as corn, potatoes, and onions, flowers, shrubs, hedges, shade trees, and fruit and nut trees.

Do not topdress tomatoes, squash, watermelons, and especially beans.

When to Use

Use APF Ammonium Sulfate 21-0-0 Fertilizer when the plants are dry and when foliage is well-established, which could be late spring or early summer.
