Alligare Surface Surfactant
Alligare Surface Surfactant is an excellent non-ionic surfactant that enhances the effectiveness of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and other pesticide applications.
04/21/26
Alligare Surface Surfactant, manufactured by Alligare, is an effective non-ionic surfactant that ensures maximum contact and absorption on the target surface with various insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, PGR, and nutrients.
Many plants have waxy or water-repellent leaves, which can cause pesticides to bead up and roll off. This non-ionic surfactant breaks the surface tension of water-based sprays and allows pesticide solutions to spread evenly. It also ensures better pesticide absorption into plant tissues, leading to better pest and weed control.
By reducing surface tension and preventing pesticide runoff, Alligare Surface Surfactant helps achieve stronger weed and pest control, better pest management, and increased disease prevention across various settings.
Tools Needed
It can be applied with a backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Examine your selected pesticide label to ensure Alligare Surface Surfactant can be used. For utility ROW and roadside foliar use 1/2 pint to 2 quart per 100 gallons of spray solution. For forest site preparation, apply 1 pint or 2 quart of product per acre per 100 gallons of spray solution. To treat aquatic surface use 1/2 pint or 2 quart per 100 gallons of spray solution. For submerged aquatic sites use 1 to 2 gallons of product per 100 gallons of spray solution. To treat agricultural, citrus, and turf use 1/2 to 4 pint of product per 100 gallons of spray solution.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the required water volume. Add the pesticide, herbicide, fungicide, or insecticide according to the label instructions. Slowly add Alligare Surface Surfactant while continuing to agitate the mixture. Fill the tank with the remaining water volume, ensuring thorough mixing.
- Step 3: Spray the mixture according to the pesticide label instructions.
