AirCover Adjuvant, manufactured by Winfield, is a unique nonionic organosilicone wetting agent that enhance the performance of various agricultural and turf management products such as pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and more.
Using AirCover with pesticides ensures that more of the active ingredient reaches and stays on the target, which: Increases product efficacy and reliability. Reduces spray drift and evaporation. Enhances rainfastness (resistance to wash-off from rain or irrigation). Minimizes wasted product, saving money.
AirCover Adjuvant promotes rapid spreading and uniform distribution of spray solutions, ensuring better coverage even in dense canopies.
Tools Needed
It can be used with a backpack sprayer, spray rig, or aerial application equipment.
How to Use
- Step 1: Examine the pesticide label you plan on mixing this surfactant with. Be sure that it can be used this product. For ground applications, mix 6-64 oz. of AirCover Adjuvant with 100 gallons of spray solution. For aerial applications, apply 12-32 oz. of product with 100 gallons of spray solution. For aquatic sites, use 8-32 oz. of product per 100 gallons of spray solution. For general wetter and spreader, apply 6-16 oz. of product with 100 gallons of spray solution.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with water to about half its capacity. Add the required amount of AirCover while agitating. Add the pesticide, or other product as per its label instructions. Continue agitating and fill the tank to the desired volume with water.
- Step 3: Spray according to the pesticide label instructions.
