The Aegis Mouse Bait Station is manufactured by Lipha Tech and can be used to place bait inside and protects bait from outside elements. The bait stations are tamper-proof to keep children, pets and innocent wildlife from accessing the bait.

The bait stations are made from durable plastic and can be reused time and time again. Aegis Mouse Bait Stations are ideal to use around homes, barnyards, along fence lines and various other areas where mice are infesting.

Tools Needed

Tools are not needed for baiting or placing Aegis Mouse Bait Stations, but you will need an effective rodenticide to place within the station. The bait station also comes with a plastic key that is used to lock and unlock it.

How to Use

  • Step 1: To open the station, insert the provided key and give a quarter, clock-wise turn and lift up. Insert 1 to 2 blocks or soft ouches of rodenticide inside the station.
  • Step 2: Place bait stations along exterior walls or fence lines with the entry holes closest to the barrier, spaced 8 to 12 feet apart.
  • Step 3: Discard any dead mice and check bait stations daily and re-fill with bait until rodent activity has stopped. We suggest not washing the bait station until the treatment process is completed, as clean stations will turn rodents away.

Where to Use

Aegis Mouse Bait Stations are ideal for outdoor use and can be used indoors for areas where the bait can be accessed by pets or children. For best results, bait stations should be placed up against exterior walls or fence lines, as mice are rarely seen out in the open. They are ideal for use around residential areas, restaurants, hotels, pet food supply stores, around farm buildings, or anywhere there is mouse activity and allows for the use of rodenticide.

When to Use

Aegis Mouse Bait Stations are should be used during any lethal mouse baiting program as the stations are tamper-resistant and can only be accessed by mice or the station's operator. Bait stations are great to use when weather conditions can ruin bait making it less effective.

Safety Information

Aegis Mouse Bait Stations are safe to use around pets and children when used according to the instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling bait and bait stations.

Special Considerations

Aegis Mouse Bait Stations do not come with bait blocks or snap traps, those are sold seperately.

*Please note that you will receive 1 - key for every 6 stations purchased.

Also, the key will be taped on the inside of the station through the entry hole.

It does not work. It is a solution that does not work for me. Mice don't use them. I wasted money on this product.

Easy to use. Key worked great. Sudden cold snap resulted in many mice seeking shelter. Placed a dozen stations around homes perimeter. Only issue was TomCat bait had to be cut in half to fit in station. Began seeing "results" within about 4 days.

We have approximately seven of these around the farm and we hardly ever see a mouse! We have a field about twenty feet away which harbor a lot of mice. The bait goes real fast for the first month but now we hardly ever refill it. Definitely will recommend!!

Mouse sized
Perfect size openings so only mice could access bait. Used them in the basement during winter. Now I can transfer them outside and not harm the chip monks and squirrels. This way I can eradicate them before they enter the basement.

  2. Q:We didn't get a key with our mice bait stations. Do we have to dispose these or is there another way to open them? It's for baiting, not trapping, correct?
    6/13/22
A:Yes you are correct but you need to have a key so you can refill the bait. In fact the bait should not be in there that is separately you have to add it and if you do not have a key that’s not possible. The key is a plastic looking thing maybe about the size of a silver dollar Enter an answer to this question.

  3. Q:When used inside- Do the dead mice smell if they die in the walls ?
    1/31/22
A:In a word....YES. Unless the walls have some kind of vapor barrier and/or lots of insulation. Some odor from decaying organic matter is normal.

  4. Q:If the mice leave the bait box after ingesting the poison and a hawk eats the poisoned mouse, will that poison the hawk? This is a question for the company.
    9/14/20
A:It all depends on the poison you using a lot of the poisonous like tomcat I understand well who is in the hockey and I’m very careful on when I do use it if there’s hawks around or other animalsEnter an answer to this question.

  7. Q:If I’m putting poison behind radiators and dressers where no pets can get too, do I still need a bait station? I have never used one before. Thank you
    9/25/19
A:We always recommend using bait stations because the mice may carry the poison out of the areas where you have put it and if your pets are curious enough to eat the poison it could cause harm.

  9. Q:We have a large chipmunk population, but it is only the mice that find a way in the house. Would rather not hurt the chipmunks, can they get inside & eat the bait? Which station will only allow small mice to enter? Thank you.
    5/20/19
A:I work in pest control, and find that squirrels and chipmunk will chew right through the plastic to get to the bait.
