To apply Adept Insect Growth Regulator, you will need a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or a type of chemigation equipment.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Adept Insect Growth Regulator to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For applications in ornamental production, mix 2 ozs. (2 bags) of Adept Insect Growth Regulator in 100 gallons of water and apply to the soil surface at a volume of 1 to 3 gallons of final solution per 100 sq. ft or approximately 1/4 to 3/4 fl. oz. of product per 6 inch pot. For applications under benches and in non-crop areas, use 4 to 8 ozs. (4 to 8 bags) of product in 100 gals of water and apply at rate of 10 - 30 gallons per 1000 sq. ft. of area.
• Step 2: Do not allow bags to become wet before adding to the spray tank. Fill the mixing tank with half the required amount of water and add water-soluble bag(s) of Adept Insect Growth Regulator. Then fill the tank with the remaining amount of required water. Wait two minutes for bag(s) to dissolve. Close tank and shake or agitate before and during use in order to ensure proper suspension of the wettable powder.
• Step 3: Spray applications should thoroughly wet the leaf underside of ornamentals and the top layer of container soil until moist. Repeat applications can be made at 4 to 8 weeks intervals as necessary to maintain control, but do not make more than four applications per crop.

Where to Use

Adept Insect Growth Regulator can be used in enclosed commercial structures only, such as greenhouses, shadehouses, and interiorscapes.

Do not apply to poinsettias, hibiscus and Reiger begonia.

When to Use

Use Adept Insect Growth Regulator at first sign of insect activity or as needed until pest populations are controlled.

Special Considerations
